DZIF Antibody (Ab-Core) Platform

Description
DZIF-Ab-Core is a central platform for the rapid and comprehensive evaluation of new antibody candidates for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. DZIF-Ab-Core provides state-of-the-art technological support for researchers within the DZIF network to effectively address global challenges such as antimicrobial resistance and emerging viruses.

Through a secure online interface, members can submit antibody sequences and select from a range of specialized tools and analyses - flexibly and on a need-based basis. Preclinical analyses and antibody production are carried out across sites by experienced partners within DZIF.

The services provided by the DZIF Ab-Core platform include an online interface for structured submission and planning, the evaluation of antibody sequences (e.g. liability testing), in vivo analyses for PK determination in relevant models, structural analyses and poly- and autoimmunoreactivity tests, testing of production capability including mid-scale manufacturing, Fc engineering and functional characterisation of Fc-mediated effects.
